My favorite place to rip is down Lake Chute at Breckenridge Colorado. It is the steepest and most thrilling descent in the country.
20 Questions
Describe your skiing background:

I have tried both skiing and snowboarding for a number of years but found my true passion with Freeheeling. Both my parents moved from the east in the search of white fluffy powder. Luckily their lifestyle has brought me up to be a powder hungry chick just trying to live life at the fullest. Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!

What was your big breakthrough or defining moment in skiing?
Probably at a competition in Keystone Colorado called the Next Snow Search that features kids of all abilities and disciplines from all over the country. So many talented young skiers, it was amazing. I was the only freeheel participant and was fortunate to be named the best female in the comp, which aired on national television. I was later featured in an article in Kid Sports Illustrated for my accomplishment.

What are you up to when you’re not skiing?
I play rugby for a local girls team—funniest sport ever...aside from skiing. I also cross-country bike and compete in the 24 hours of Moab. The team I ride with is called Team Barbie. Yah!!! Otherwise, I'm just chilling with friends (most the time you'll find us eating somewhere).

Any training advice or suggestions?
SKI, SKI, SKI!

Who or what inspires you?
Friends, family and competitors who are having fun.

How do you see skiing evolving in the next five years?
I see skiing booming in the next few years and freeheeling growing into a sport that will compete in popularity with both alpine skiing and snowboarding. Every time I go out I see more teleskiers rippin' up the hill.

Do you think the best skiers today are better than the best skiers twenty years ago?
No, I believe the style of skiing has changed though. We are now into big air and going down the steepest run on the hill instead of graceful turns down a groomer.

How does fear affect your skiing?
Since I’m young I feel invincible much to my mom’s dismay at times. She worries a lot watching me ski lines in competitions and threatens to take away my skis sometimes when I scare her real good.

Do you have any vices that you would like to share?
I had to ask for assistance on this question. My mom gave me the answer "you wear those stupid hats all the time."

Any near death experiences?
My friend just got her license and driving with her is always a near-death experience.

What are your future plans or goals in skiing?
Just to have fun and ski hard.
