Questions
Describe your favorite day on snow?
Man
this is a tough one. I just
don’t think I have one better day than
another, it isn’t possible… Too
many good days with face shots to choose from.
Any day when you can huck and not feel a thing
is an amazing day.
Who inspires you?
Chris
Davenport is an amazing person all around.
He goes out and gets after whatever he is trying
to do. Chris is strong and passionate and to
me anyone who loves what they do and they always
have a smile on their face, that’s
inspiring. And that is just the way I see him.
With all of this, Chris puts his effort into
spreading his love and his passion for skiing
and the mountains through to others.
Favorite piece of equipment and why?
My
BD Mercury Mitts are the best! Nothing compares
to having warm comfy fingers on top of a mountain.
They are perfect… most
gloves that warm are too big and get in the way.
Also my Fritschi Freerides. I couldn’t
do without. They are light, strong and simple.
Training
techniques for skiing?
Well riding my mountain bike and flowing
with yoga, and skiing as much as I possibly can.
This upcoming fall my goal is to train and become
stronger to help protect myself from getting
hurt.
Goals you have for the future?
As for this winter coming up, myself and
a few other BD skiers are planning on competing
in the US Free Skiing Tour. Then from the last
comp driving in a van through British Columba
up to Alaska.
As for in the future, my goal is to strive
higher and higher and progress in the sport of
freeskiing, while competing and traveling from
place to place. While doing so, I will maintain
healthy lifestyle and keeping a good relationship
with sponsors.
Describe the perfect ski trip?
The
perfect ski trip…well there’s
got to be lots of pow and big peaks!
The
Simpson’s or Seinfeld?
Neither,
I don’t really watch T.V.
