Stance Belay Parka - Women's is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome for crag climbing I bought this jacket a month ago. Super warm, the fit is right on me, I like the long sleeves, it covers my harness, I love the 2 ways zipper to access my stuff. But there is two features that I would of done differently, the elastics around the hood are not pulling in the right angle, which keep my forehead warm but I am really freezing the sides of my face when windy. Other then that, I believe that a belay jacket should come with a little pocket that fits the whole jacket, so I could just clip the jacket to my harness while doing short multi pitches with no alpine bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from insanely warm I bought this jacket for a winter mountaineering course and because I frequent places that are below zero. This jacket is WARM. That is for sure. The pockets are nice and large too, I can fit my largest pair of gloves in them and plenty of other things too- I'm not into putting important things down in the snow. This jacket has kept me nice and toasty in -25 F. Also the hood is really big so it fits over a helmet, and it has one of those sinchy bungie things on the back and so you can pull the sides back and regain your peripheral vision. It is a little on the long side, but I like it like that! It keeps a bit of my bum warm. Not so great parts: the zipper is a little funky- sometimes it is difficult to get it started I think because it is a two way

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit for long torso, absurdly warm I absolutely love this jacket! It's extremely warm and feels like I'm wearing a sleeping bag (just on my upper half). I am 5'8" 140lbs and got a size large. The belay parka has long arm sleeves that cover my hands a little bit. I haven't actually used this jacket for belaying so I'm not sure if the long sleeves would get annoying but they're excellent for keeping my hands warm while walking around town or hiking. I also like how the Belay Parka is long enough to cover my butt. Adjustable hood is also very nice-especially when it's windy. Only cons are 1. Not enough (3) zipper pockets and 2. Zippers often get stuck on jacket material. So far I've used this jacket for walking around town, hiking, in-bounds skiing (once-it was way too warm, may try again if it gets below 10) and sleeping on planes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great belay jacket; please fix pockets I bought this jacket for belaying during ice climbing. It does this splendidly in single digits and below-zero conditions. Accommodates other layers and harness splendidly. Pleased that it came in black and red - I didn't have to sort through pink, purple, teal, or other "girly" colors. Top marks there, BD. Fiance bought same jacket. His sports two breast pockets; mine only one. -1 star for lack of feminine functionality, BD. Ladies like pockets too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm, but big I have the Access LT Hybrid jacket and Compound Hoody in an XS and they both fit perfectly: roomy enough to fit climber shoulders, tapered waist, and long enough to fit under a harness. This jacket in an XS fit well in the shoulders and was long enough to keep my butt warm, but was too big in the waist and hips. It's big enough that I can rock the double puffy, though it's so warm I don't want to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job, but fitting isn't right I got the black & in xs. Pros: -Light weight -Durable -Kept me warm on cold days -Easy to adjust the hood size -Love the two say zipper Cons: -way to long (5') -way to big & looks bulky on me (100lb) -the sleeve is to long -The cuff stretch over time
