Rated 5 out of 5 by Cal from Perfect Fit! I've been looking for a replacement to my favorite, but well-worn, climbing pants & I just found them! They fit perfectly under my harness. I was a little worried about the integrated belt/buckle, but it is very low profile and is not even noticeable under the waist band of my harness. Good range of motion and zippers on every pocket...perfect! The non-cotton material is great at wicking away moisture and drying quickly...great for those sweaty days on a big wall followed by cooler nights. For sizing, I normally wear a 31-32 inch waist, an the Medium fit me perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ryan from Most comfortable pants I've ever worn I put these on and didn't want to take them off. I got the mediums. I have a 32-33" waist, 30" inseam (but med will fit longer,+1-2"??) Used them in light rain and mud, and was very comfortable. in them. They're perfect for fall/spring, add some polypro underu-s and they're ok for colder temps. Pockets are well placed, all with low profile zippers that do not get in the way or snag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andy from Perfect for alpine rock These are great softshell pants for summer or warmer weather alpine rock climbs that may involve a little bit of glacier or snow travel. Think Cascades and Bugaboos, the Diamond, etc. I wouldn't wear them ice or true alpine climbing, but they are a perfect weight for summer days up high in the mountains where you need durability, breathability and just a little bit of weather resistance. I'm a 31 waist and I'm 5'11", and the medium fits great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tyler from Excellent fit and function Have two pairs of these softshell pants - they fit great (true to size) and are durable and comfortable. Has a good amount of stretch for a tough fabric, which is difficult to achieve. If you plan to wear these in cold weather (sub 40F or so), you will want to layer underneath. Not waterproof, if that's what you're looking for. Good wind protection. Overall, would highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by slim from great climbing pants i have owned 5 pairs of BD climbing pants over the years, ranging from rockbottoms to the legendary BDV schoeller pants. a lot of the pants on the market over the last decade have gone to kind of a bell bottom fit. i tend to prefer a lower profile at the bottom of the leg. when i saw these pants, i decided to go for it and give them a try. i have had these pants for about 6 months now and they are basically the climbing pants that i have been looking for. the material is a nice combination of stretchy, durable, and comfortable. the light grey color helps them cover a fairly large temperature range. warm enough for winter climbing, but the sun doesn't make them bake. they are just right. i like the slim fit, and in particular the tapered cuffs. i spend probably half my time looking at my feet when i am climbing, so the trim cuff is super helpful. the pockets are great. the only two minor changes that i can think of is just using a single snap waist button and removing the integrated belt. i think most people like the belt, but i always just use some webbing. nice work BD!
