Rated 4 out of 5 by Judson from Great Glove Got these for working in the Northern Adirondacks where it gets pretty chilly. These gloves aren't ideal for temps below 10F unless you're doing physical work. I ordered the XL as most XLs are on the verge of being too small. These however, are a bit roomy in the palm and have long cut on the fingers. It's not terrible, but it definitely does reduce the dexterity/fine motor skills a bit. Overall, a good quality general purpose glove for work!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel from AWESOME Wore these regularly this winter. Mostly kept them in the van (camper conversion) and used them for pre-dawn dog training/exercising while ice climbing in Ouray and Bozeman. Wore them skiing another day. So freaking good. I bought my father a pair for Christmas and he said they're his favorite winter work gloves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lisa from Top Notch Quality After moving a cord of wood covered in blackberry bushes in the pouring rain my hands were not only dry, but the gloves looked in great shape after the pounding. Bought the gloves for work. Well worth the purchase. Thank you for making a great product Black Diamond.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Allen from ski gloves are nice Just got these a few days ago and must say they are pretty nice. Warmer then the 100 gram thinsulate gloves I have been getting at the hardware store and they look like they will hold up to a couple of seasons of skiing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brad from Awesome, durable, simple gloves Used these for a season of patrolling, no holes in them yet, good balance of warmth and dexterity, fits easily enough under the cuff of a jacket without needing any sort of cinching closure, easy to put on and off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Glovekilla from Disappointing in every aspect Being a big fan of a simple full leather work gloves for skiing/skinning/climbing etc completely disappointed with this gloves. First of all the sizing. Using BD size chart with 20cm palm I'm a solid Medium with couple of different BD-models for about 10 years. For my previous BD Kingpin gloves I opted for the size Large (thanks for the user reviews here) and after baking&breaking-in period it's OK fit now. So I ordered BD Work Gloves in Medium and ... they are more like XL with at least ~1-1.5 cm extra excessive length in every finger and pretty relaxed in the palm. (So, dear BD, please stop messing with the sizing with every other glove model/glove year you make!) Design and construction-wise, there is absolutely no articulation in this glove, just dead straight fingers and flat palm and back hand. The fleece lining feels twice as thick as in the Kingpins, so nothing to talk about things like "fit", "grip" and "dexterity", it is more like home kitchen oven wrap gloves fit. May be it is intended in this way, to compensate the lack of articulation with the oversized fit? Gauntlet cuff is long and bulky fleece lined and at the same time has no cinchy stuff, so it's a pain to wear as undercuff and helpless to protect snowleaks if worn over the cuff. Materials and manufacturing looks legit, comes with the patch of Nikwax waterproofing wax - nice touch... But I'd better go with the tried & proved Marmot Basic Work gloves, while they are still available and unchanged.
