Rated 4 out of 5 by Adam from Solid Pack I've enjoyed my purchase of the Magnum 20. I purchased it for quick day hikes, bike rides, and a bag to keep my DSLR camera in. The pack is sleek because it has minimal pockets, although it does have a solid top pocket that I keep my keys and phone in (favorite feature). The only downside of the pack is its size. I'm a 6'2", 195 lb male, and the pack is very small for me. In fact, I would only recommend it for those persons smaller in size than me because it fits awkward on me (too high on my back). For day hikes, that's not a big deal, but I wouldn't take this pack on anything serious due to how it fits on me. Overall, I enjoy the pack: lightweight, sleek, and durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike from Great Pack, Great Company The need was to find a small pack to hold my camera (Sony a7), shell, water, snacks and loot while on vacation that can also double as a short range hiking pack back home. I did not own any Black Diamond products nor have played with them at a retail location. I choose the Magnum 20 from the internet based on a few features. • Black • Removable waist belt • Top adjusters to condense the pack This would have been enough for me to like the product. Once it was in my hands I knew it was love at first site. The action pulley system to tighten items in the outside pockets, brilliant. Secret stash felt lined top zipper pocket, wonderful. The subtle crosshatching in the material, splendid. I was wondering Italy for a few weeks and this pack was always on my back and could not be happier. Everything I needed was able to fit and the pack gave great support. Thank you Black Diamond. I can’t wait till we tear down tiger mountain together!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Madeline from Great day pack! I love this pack! I use it for day hikes (anywhere from 1 hour to 8 hour hikes) and also use it for mountain biking. The water bottle holders on the sides are a little finicky and don't hold my water bottles super well (especially if bending over to tie a shoe or something) but otherwise I'm very happy. If you care about looks, I got it in black and it looks super sleek and never dirty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ryan from Perfect capacity for ultralight overnight/no sleep bivy This pack is the perfect step up from the Magnum 16 in size, with great well engineered compartments for: sunglasses or headlamp, hydration, outside pouch w/compression, outside flank pouches, and main compartment. The back breathes well and the bag is so light to add to another larger pack, you won't notice the weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ed from Best pack I've owned I've only had the pack for 60 days but from the first time i packed it up and put it on it's been outstanding, very comfortable and highly adjustable. it's design is outstanding, it's super lightweight and functional. i stow everything from coats and vests to digital SLR cameras and stuff from the garden in this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Richard from Exactly what I Needed Size is perfect for day trips travelling or for carryon. Not too many pockets (I tend to lose stuff with too many pockets) just right for jackets, food or camera gear. Very happy with this pack. On the ad, the color looks blue but, in actuality, it's more of an olive-smokey blue (if that makes sense). I like the color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PHILIP from Good pack! This pack has great features, and if you are not using all the space it compacts down nice. Color Warning! Laurel looks like it is a grey/blue on the website. After arriving it is more greenish, blue grey.
