Rated 5 out of 5 by Rion Perfect Pack for those Seeking Ultralight
I am working at being more of an ultralight hiker; I'm not there yet. This pack is perfect for me in the transition period. I did a four day trans-sierra started out at 39lbs with water and finished at 29lbs with 1.5 L of water. At 39lbs the shoulder straps were a little light on padding by the end of the day (8 ish hours on trail) causing some discomfort. The bag held up great and carried everything I needed for the trip.
This is now my goto for my 72 hour SAR pack.

OK, been looking and looking, so Weds. night around midnight I pull the trigger and buy this pack. In the morning I realize that o-dark-o'clock is not the time to order stuff. I ordered a "M" by mistake (I am 6'5"+).
Called the 1-800 number in the morning, and the nice guy was able to change it to a crimson in Large in about 3 sec.... cool right!! (now remember this is thurs morning at about 0700.)
Sat. at noon I am leaving for a graduation, and the pack is hanging on my gate.... like 48 hours and some change to get me this pack with an order change.... THEY ROCK.
The pack is super nice. About the size I expected. The adjustable hop belt fits good... I can make the pack too long for me pretty easy, so good adjustments.
Have been filling it with gear and trying it out around the place.. way comfortable. Only thing I noticed is the waist belt/buckle I might have needed and extra large LOL. This being said, I am 6'6" and 300+.... but it fits, just not with tooo much adjustment left, but some. My hope is that with the hiking this summer, the waist belt will fit better and better.
Trying it out on an overnighter this weekend coming up, will give a report. It fits awesome and the suspension system I really like, just moving around the yard.... Will post up after the outing...

Great well thought out pack. I thought about the 50l but after lots of sleepless nights I went with the 60L and glad I did. The pack compresses down well taking up the extra and when it comes time for an extened trip the extra room will be nice! Great mounting and comfort in the hip belt makes for long days in on the trail very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve This pack is the best I've ever hit the trail with!!!
The Infinity 60 is an order of magnitude improvement over any pack I've owned. The suspension exceeds expectations and after a particularly long day on the trail, with over 5,000 feet of up and down elevation change, my hips had no discomfort and the shoulder straps had not overly burdened my shoulders. Three more days of more average travel convinced me that this is something that should have been available 20 years ago. It is spacious, though a bit difficult to organize the way I like. There are several external pouches and attachments that actually work as advertised, and the swivel system did everything it was touted for. If I were to change one aspect, it would be the addition of a side or lower zipper to make loading and unloading a bit more organized. Aside from that, based on comfort, the way the swivel system carried the load, and the fact that moisture is wicked away from the back and hips effectively I can only give this piece of equipment a five. I strongly recommend this pack to anyone who regularly does five to ten days in the back country setting and is serious about going light to ultra-light.
