Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Bag For Gym Use I bought this bag primarily to carry / store my gear for gym climbing. It works perfect for that application, and I am very happy with it. It fits harness, chalk bag, extra chalk, some snacks, and 1 pair of shoes in the main compartment, but that is about it. Again, perfect for the gym. Could be used outside if you replaced the extra chalk with some draws / food. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't tapered at the bottom. February 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great travel pack I travel in airplanes a lot and am always on the lookout for a good "plus one" to go with my carry-on. Most recently I've been using a messenger bag that has worked quite well. But I've gotten tired of the messenger bag over-the-shoulder style. The with its zippered top entry and organizer in the back pocket, the Hollow Point has become my new "plus one". Works great for carrying the stuff I need while on the plane and keeps keys, documents, iPod etc. organized in the pocket. Plus, I can take it out for a hike! October 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great bag, design flaw Overall the bag is a good backpack and will hold all you need for a day of cragging. I don't like how the bag tapers down towards the bottom, I find that often the bottom of the bags space doesn't get utilized (either my rack or harness doesn't fill it up, unless packed very neatly). Other than that, I'd recommend this to anyone. Would be awesome if it had a strap to throw a rope on top too. August 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pack for multi pitch or soloing. I love this pack. I love it so much that I bought a second one. The hydration pouch is key and a great feature. Just a very well thought out design with organization in mind but yet still really simple. July 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great pack. A must have for a great price. Almost every Rock Guide I work with owns this pack. It has a ton of room with a slim design. It sits well on your back when fully load and the top houses a helmet perfectly. I am able to fit My fleece, raincoat, first-aid pack, food, light, water, harness and helmet in this pack with relative ease. The only problem i find is that when a hydration bladder is used in the pack, the loop used to hold up the bladder pulls the pack down and makes it difficult to close. June 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A good low profile pack I use the hollowpoint pack for day to day use and for most day hikes. Big enough for water, snacks, and rain gear or an insulating layer, but low pro enough that you can slide through tight spaces without getting hung up. I like the fact that it doesn't have really any bells or whistles, but carries well even while running. November 20, 2013
