Rated 5 out of 5 by Anna from awesome for being simple! I purchased this because I really wanted a pack that was light and super simple for just stuffing in a water bottle, rain jacket and pants. I took it on the plane to Costa Rica and it worked perfect not only could I fit that stuff, but I was also able to fit my mac book pro too. The little pocket on the inside of the main pocket was great for storing my passport and money so it couldn't be taken while i was walking in sketchy areas. The little pocket in the front is nice because its actually fairly deep for storing things with easy access. For how simple this pack is it still has a pouch for a hydration pack. The chest and waist straps are available for use or can be strapped up and out of your way. I love this pack so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by David from great pack SO i admit, i have a plethora of packs, crag packs, climbing packs, alpine packs, backpacking packs. I like packs. I love this pack. Bullet tough, just the right size for those long multi-pitch days when you need to bring all sorts of supplies. And did i mention it takes abuse? I have actually hauled this thing on a tag line. Not to be done often, but it hangs in there. This iteration is my second Bullet, and the only input i would say is 'Why did BD get rid of the gear loops on the outside'? All in all, the pack to climb in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel from Awesome. Also free...but, still awesome. I'm not going to lie, I won this just for signing up for those gear/email list emails. If nothing else, I'm proof that it pays off to sign up. I got an email one day that said "you won, pick a color and it's in the mail." I chose red and BOOM it showed up...just in time for a 15 day road trip from Oregon to climb all over Colorado and live in our van. I've owned and abused the older Bullet and the Shot...loved them both. This new pack is great. It has a nice padded frame type back that rests against your back. The pockets are great sized. The internal mesh pocket is great for keeping some things separate. I also used the water bladder feature and it worked great. I've crammed so much stuff in this pack and thought "no way this will zip" and it zipped super easy. I should say that: the zipper on this is boss. I wore this simulclimbing the First Flatiron in Boulder and it was comfortable carrying the following: My 9.5 Guide Tennies, her 7 Guide Tennies, completely full large camelbak, bunch of snacks, iPhone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by William from Well made, as usual I have 3 BD packs, but ordered this smaller version to travel with. I have an old Hollowpoint, but thought this would fit the bill. It is very well made, as expected, but for my specific purpose for the trip I recently used it on, it was a bit too small (I had to decide quickly online). I found also that when I was carrying it without the sternum strap connected, the main straps tended to move toward my shoulders. Anyway, I will use this pack for small loads and report back. I now figure that the perfect pack in this range for me would be around 20-22 litres.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PghTrip from Great day tripper pack I use this pack as a every day carry. Works great for the ultra book, rain jacket, and small pocket gear. I love the deep small pocket on the front upper! Pack is not perfect due to the fact the straps want to slide off of your shoulders. No matter what type of shirt or jacket I wear I have to use the sternum strap. I like the sternum strap due to the flex design; but I do not always want to have to use it...

Rated 5 out of 5 by CE from Absolutely brilliant I will keep this brief (as possible!) … for if I were to tell you everything I admire about this pack and why it so meets my needs and exceeds expectations I would most certainly lose you in detail dear reader. Suffice it to say that this pack is extremely well constructed of durable material with a perfectly minimalist design that is ergonomically balanced when in use. The interior pocket and partition are convenient and the exterior "quick pocket" is perfect for those items you may frequently need. The extra heavy duty YKK zippers, loops, mini daisy chains and torso/waist straps are purpose-built and again, well designed. The Bullet 16 is not just some glorified book bag, which prior to this was all I could find. I honestly was about to give up on finding the "perfect pack" and settle for something "functional" until finding the Bullet 16. This pack is legit. Great job BD.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jonathan from Great Features for Multi Pitch Climbs This pack was designed for climbers. It has everything you need during a climb, access to snacks/sunblock/etc on the outside, zippered mesh pouch on the inside so when you try to get out larger items they are safe, and it is streamlined. I didn't like how all of the straps were absurdly long, but I cut them, melted the ends, then sewed the ends over so they wouldn't fall through the buckles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crusty from Ideal for Resort Skiing/Riding! Used this pack last week while skiing/riding in CO with my wife and kids! Surprising how much I could carry comfortably in this 16L pack. Three platypus bottles, snacks, first aid kit, spare mitts, SLR camera, and still room to spare. Low profile made it comfortable even when sitting on the lift. Easily removed back pad was great when taking a break to shoot photos on the mountain. Small interior, and exterior pockets for essentials. Zipper pulls easy to work even with gloves on. Great pack at a great price.
