Rated 5 out of 5 by Pete Not perfect but still amazing!
My first helmet (plastic shell with webbing harness) was a beast of weight and bulk, and I avoided wearing helmets for sport climbing or hard trad for years. I bought my first Vapor about a year ago, and it was great -- crazy light, well ventilated, fit under a hood, could accommodate a thin fleece beanie. With the ventilation and weight of the Vapor, I couldn't come up with any excuses not to wear a helmet for everything.
My first Vapor, however, did have some issues. First, the adjusting system seemed to wear out over time because it would occasionally and spontaneously become quite loose. Second, the foam and plastic liner didn't withstand the repeated smashing of equipment into my pack.
I looked at lots of different helmets when it came time to replace my first Vapor, but the Vapor is still the best helmet on the market. I finally bought a second Vapor, and it has performed like a superstar. And, I'll try not to smash it into my pack (or get my head smashed during a fall) so that it lasts a bit longer than the first one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Argo Like it's not there.
We use these for sailing on a high speed catamaran. They deal with sweat nicely as well as drain water when it's wet. Very easily adjusted and work well bare headed or with a skull cap. Worth the $.

Rated 5 out of 5 by John Incredibly light and comfortable!
I bought this helmet because I run a guide service based in Austin, Texas and it gets HOT! Having a helmet that is lightweight, comfortable and well ventilated is an absolute must. For the environment I work in the Vapor is the best helmet I have ever owned. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alexander Ultimate Hot Weather Helmet
I recently made the move to AZ from NY and always wear a helmet out of habit. There are plenty of vent holes for hot days and the design doesn't seem to sacrifice the structural integrity. The suspension is comfortable and stores away when in transit to prevent damage. It is a lower profile helmet so you look like you have a normal sized dome, especially when under a hood. More lightweight than expected with removable liner pads for easy cleaning after you get your sweat on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ward This helmet saved my life
I can confidently say I would be dead without it. I suffered a broken neck, traumatic brain injury, and a month in the hospital from my fall.
Wear a helmet!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alexander Light and breathable
I bought this helmet for its light weight and high ventilation. So far so good. I'm quite pleased with it although I have only had a few weeks and used it mostly in the shade. Still, it looks like it will fit the bill nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by colin This product is well described and does not disappoint
This was exactly what I was looking for! I bought it because it's lightweight and lowprofile, intending to use it for climbing in Alaska. My favorite BD helmet yet!
