Rated 4 out of 5 by Eric from Size small is Small! Have a 2012 pair, size medium(Chinese). Bought a 2014 pair, size small (Pakistan) for my wife, the size difference was very substantial at first. Wife had trouble getting her hands into them, even though mine swamp her. The gloves have stretched a bit and seem closer to a small now. According to the size chart, she should have been a small. They started super tight. Other than the size thing, they are just as tough as the old ones. They really protect your hands and are built to last for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Colin from Well made and Versatile The glove fit a bit tightly at first. I primarily use it for commuting on my bike and now that it's broken in they are extremely comfortable and I know my hands would be very well protected if I fall. No ventilation in the back means that hot days wouldn't be ideal for these gloves. As a belay glove they protect the hand well and don't get in the way. Love the ability to clip the pair to a carabineer. Not for ultra-light enthusiasts, they're bulky but bomb-proof

Rated 3 out of 5 by Melissa from what is up with sizing? Based on another review as well as the measurement of my hand, I ordered a size small (my hand width measures between 7" and 7.25"). Unfortunately, it was just swimming on me. I don't know whether even a size XS would have been small enough. Either other reviewers don't know how to measure hand width, or the sizing on these gloves are wildly inconsistent. I am returning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Daniel from belay/rap gloves Got them for added belay control with thin ropes in a trango cinch. they work great for repelling too. If looking for a gloce to only repel with, consider the full finger gloves. with the 3/4 fingers, special attention should be taken so not to get burned along the first knuckle. not a huge issue but it is something to consider when setting up for a rap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Zach from Great for aid, but not ideal belay gloves These gloves are the bomb for aid climbing and big walls. Super strong and supple for intricate placements. I especially appreciate the extended under the finger protection. However as solely belay gloves I still prefer a full fingered glove for added protection. The thickness of the leather is probably overkill for most non-big wall applications.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Doug from Purchased for rope rescue work I purchased these gloves to use in a technical rescue class, and to use for rope rescue. So far, they have worked well. The 3/4 fingers allow the ability to work quickly with webbing and knots but don't provide as much protection as a full finger glove. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jonathan from Excellent glove for intricate rope work while providing palm/hand protection Killer glove to protect hands while allowing for intricate use of fingers. May be tight fitting at first, but allow them to get dirty, wet and will work in to shape, fits perfectly now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Darren from Extremely comfortable and stylish A week prior I got a massive blister from belaying. These gloves protect my hands perfectly and they look bad@$$ in black. I catch myself wanting to wear them all the time.
